Cintya Dharmayanti

Science communicator

With a background in the health and pharmaceutical sciences, Ms Cintya Dharmayanti completed her PhD at the University of South Australia in 2024, joining Scientell shortly after. Her PhD research focused on the development of nanoparticles and how they could be designed to ‘sense’ changes in the environment to achieve more targeted release of chemotherapy drugs. Through this role, she garnered more than 5 years of experience in scientific research, peer review and academic publishing.

Outside of her research, she is a passionate and award-winning science communicator, having been a national finalist in FameLab Australia, the world’s leading public-facing science communication competition and training program. Before joining Scientell, she completed an internship at the science communication company, Animate Your Science, and was a guest author for the magazine SWIPE SciComm.
