Description
The FRDC is a key organisation dedicated to advancing the sustainability and productivity of Australia’s fisheries and aquaculture sectors. Each year, the FRDC publishes an annual report, featuring a series of case studies to showcase the breadth and impact of FRDC-funded research.
Working with the FRDC, Scientell interviewed key researchers, drafted five articles, and implemented feedback from FRDC staff. The case study topics included the identification and management of biosecurity risks in Australia’s aquatic animal sector, techniques to protect threatened tuna species, broadening the market for human consumption of Australian herring, the effects of marine heatwaves on Western rock lobster, and capturing stories from Australia’s commercial wild catch fishers.
