Scientell delivered online training to researchers working on projects funded by the FRDC to help prepare them for FishTank, an interactive research showcase at the Seafood Directions 2024 Conference. The training included a comprehensive 2-hour group workshop covering essential science communication tips, followed by personalised one-on-one sessions. During these tailored sessions, researchers received direct feedback and practical advice on how to make their Fishtank presentations more engaging and interactive. FishTank presenters used various props, such as virtual reality headsets, jellyfish taste tests and climate-themed board games, to engage the audience.
